CRAZYTOWN SHOW CANCELLATION

***CRAZYTOWN SHOW CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PROMOTERS***

Due to a car accident when Crazy Town hit a moose and while nobody was killed there have been injuries to two of the travelling party which make the long haul to Australia and ability to perform live not possible. Now we are doing everything we can to reschedule these dates so we ask all the fans and media in this situation to remain patient while behind the scenes we work as fast as we can to see if it’s possible to set this back up for either January or February.

As a small Australian business have never cancelled a tour it’s an expensive thing to do for all parties involved losing in flights, venues in foot traffic for the night and our nationwide team apologizes again and maintains for the fans we always provide the cheapest tickets for the best fans out there in our niche of the market, of course anyone unable to attend the rescheduled dates will either be refunded direct from RapTix, Oztix, or your other point of sale.

So hold onto your tickets, bare with us let us work hand in hand with Crazy Town and hopefully we are rocking on!

*Lillye would like to send our wishes to the band and their crew… we will see you all soon!*

What’s been going on behind the scenes!!

It’s been sometime so we thought we should share with you what’s been going on in Lillye world!

With Stef our dreaded-hair loving drummer now settled into his beastly role, having smashed through festivals Wallapalooza and Amped festivals, we are looking forward to getting out amongst it more often. Both festivals were killer days with all bands absolutely slaying it!! We were stoked to see our record label buddies A Breach Of Silence on the Wallapalooza festival with us. Great shows and awesome vibes indeed!!

In between tightening up our live musical threads, we have been locked away in the studio writing new material for our next album due out 2020. Fresh tunes are being laid down with one track already locked in with a video already shot and ready to be released…. but we will keep you waiting till the time is right!

We have some exciting shows coming up to end the year… First up in the calendar we are sharing the stage with US rap-rockers Crazytown!! Best known for their hugely popular single, ‘Butterfly’, we can’t wait to party like its early 2000 again! We will be joining them on their Sydney show on 5th December at The Burdekin, in Darlinghurst. Also on the line up are Mixtape For The Drive and Lit Up. Contact us for hard copy tickets!! Gonna be a kick ass show!!

Second show announcement is Blaze Festival in Geelong on 7th December at The Barwon Club Hotel. This will be our first time in the southern part of Victoria and excitement is brewing! With bands like Desecrator, Demonhead, The Resignators and Muscle Car this is sure to be one hell of a day! This is the first time this festival has travelled to Geelong so grab a ticket, come down say hi and let’s kick off the day with some serious raucous fun!

Our final show for 2019, will be #BandTogether… A charity concert for the NSW Bushfire Appeal. The NSW Bush fires of November 2019 have been well documented as being catastrophic. Thanks to Silverback Touring, we have been selected to play at Crowbar in Sydney on December 22nd. We are proud to be up alongside our brothers and sisters of the rock n’ roll scene in Sydney, giving back to all those effected and involved including the Rural Fire Service and Wires. Every cent raised through tickets sales and merchandise will be donated. It will be an awesome day with bands such as The Art, Bad Moon Born, Dept. of Gloom, Eight Ball Junkies, Molly & The Krells and Screaming Eagle, delicious food to satisfy your tastebuds and chilled drinks… good times are assured. This is one event not to be missed!!

We hope we can catch up with you at one of the shows mentioned above… Be great to see how you are all doin and celebrate the ending of another great year!!

Till then… back to the studio we go!!

Giving to the homeless of Sydney

Lillye hit the streets of Sydney and gave care packages to the homeless.

Over Christmas time, we advertised on our Facebook page we were selling artwork which is created by Virginia Lillye.

These unique pieces of art are drawn on drum heads that drummer of the band, Bennet Livingston, has used. Instead of throwing these used drum skins into landfill, Virginia puts her magic touch on them.

With the sale of Lillye drum skin art pieces at Christmas time, we put the money to good use by buying food, personal hygiene items, water and blankets for the homeless. This is our adventure of meeting and greeting homeless men and women on the streets of Sydney.

(Shot by Julian Crupi and edited by Virginia Lillye.)

Music used in this clip is ‘Grass is Greener’ taken from our debut full length album, ‘Evolve’.

New Music Video is Released!!

Our brand new music video ‘Brittle Glass’ is released world-wide today through Eclipse Records!

It stars one of our fans Johnno who has moves that just can’t be described.. you have to see them to believe them.

Directed and shot by Julian Crupi and Lillye’s own vocalist, Virginia Lillye, the video takes you on a journey through the suburban streets of Sydney with Johnno  displaying his dance moves.

The song is about believing in and being yourself no matter what other people may think. We don’t know anyone who’s a better example of that than Johnno!
